Heavy Equipment Operator - R.E. Beckner Construction, Inc.

R.E. Beckner Construction, inc., is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of equipment including loaders, skid steers, dozers, excavators, and rollers. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery on various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, skid steers, excavators, and rollers.
• Perform pre-checks to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist in other construction-related duties as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work locations: Offices based out of Pinellas and Citrus Counties with jobs located throughout the central west Florida region.
