Heavy Equipment Operator - Waste Connections

**Waste Connections in Vancouver, WA is looking to hire a full-time year-round Heavy Equipment Operator at our Transfer station in Vancouver, Washington.** **Starting rate of pay is $29.00/HR** **Hours will be Tuesday-Saturday (Tuesday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, And Saturday 7:30am-4:30Pm)** **Qualified candidates must have Front End Loader, Excavator and Yard Truck and trailer Experience.** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** **Ability to efficiently operate Front End Loader, Excavator and Yard Truck and Trailer. Compactor experience preferred** **_._** **Performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires.** **Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.** **Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.** **Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.** **WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:** **Extensive physical activity.
