Job Brief
This position is primarily responsible for maintaining all the firm’s workstations, providing audio/visual support, and participating in remote trial setups. They will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, peripheral, and networking issues.
Responsibilities
- Supporting employees with computer issues, troubleshooting PC operating systems and software
- Moving, setting up and shipping computers, peripherals, and printers
- Setup new user network accounts (Active Directory, M365, Zendesk)
- Provide End User Support (Helpdesk) to employees in all offices on software applications used in the firm
- Prepare and support remote trials “Road Show” equipment
- Maintain and track inventory for base office
- Assist with software installations/troubleshooting
- Participate in on-call rotation with other members in IT Department
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Windows 10/11 and Office 365 certifications preferred
- Experience programming in VBA or other programming languages preferred
- A good understanding of Windows Operating system to include:
- Making changes to the Windows registry
- Device drivers
- TCP/IP Networking configuration
- Security
- Networking
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with mobile devices such as iPhones/iPads and Androids
- Experience troubleshooting local and network printing, e-mail, connectivity, remote access, and hardware issues
