Serves as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone or e-mail.Performs remotetroubleshootingthroughdiagnostictechniquesandpertinentquestions.Determinesthebestsolution based on the issue and details provided by the customer.
EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities
Ø Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner.
Ø Respond to customer issues via phone, email and IM
Ø Provide customer assistance
Ø Document customer interactions
Ø Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues
Ø Escalate issues to the next Tier, as appropriate
Ø Install, maintain, and repair computer hardware and software
Ø Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
Qualifications
Ø Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Ø 2+ years of experience working in a help desk environment preferred
Ø Flexibility to work a variety of shifts with minimal notice
Ø Available to work regular overtime
Ø Proficiency with Windows and MAC OS
Ø Excellent oral communication skills
Ø Ability to organize and manage assigned Help desk tickets
Ø Skill to diagnose and resolve computer and printer issues
Ø Reliable transportation to handle issues at remote locations within 30 miles of hospital
