Help Desk Technician at TEKsystems

Aloha! One of Hawaii's Managed Service Providers is seeking an entry level candidate to join the IT Service Desk team. The IT Service Desk Level 1 Specialist is an organized, self-motivated, and positive individual who takes ownership of job responsibilities. Dedication to providing outstanding customer service is essential for a successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Answer end user telephone calls and emails in a prompt and professional manner

• Accurately record incident information using the Service Desk ticketing system

• Escalate incidents to level 2 based on initial troubleshooting

• Computer and general IT equipment repairs

• Load Windows computers and applications based on specified company configurations

Candidate Qualifications

• Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems

• Knowledge of Microsoft applications

• Experience with PC hardware

• 1 or more years of service desk (help desk) experience

• 1 or more years of customer service experience

• Associate’s degree, A+, or similar technical certification preferred

• Remote application support

• Excellent interpersonal skills on the telephone and in person

• Applicant must have a valid Driver’s license and have reliable transportation

• Applicant must be able to lift 50 pounds
