Helpdesk Support Specialist
Systems Integration and Development, Inc. (SID), an IT solutions provider located in Rockville, MD, is currently seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist. This is a full-time position located in Silver Spring, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This position will provide support in areas including but not limited to:
- Windows Server 2019 support
- Hands on experience troubleshooting user Windows 10 systems, printers, servers, etc.
- This Desktop Support Specialist will handle level 1 & 2 tickets
- Work on multiple tickets or issues to satisfactory resolution. We use Jira as our ticketing system.
- Keeping systems updated with patches from SCCM
- Hardware support (desktop and laptops; printers; scanners)
- Meeting and conference support
- Active Directory account management
- Email account management
- IT policy support and implementation
- IT Security ? patching, incident reporting, security processes
Required Experience:
- 2-3+ years of Service Desk/Help Desk support experience
- Experience with and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with:
- Windows Operating Systems: Windows 10
- MS Office Suite
- Ability to build or install new workstations (desktops and laptops), especially by applying a standard image
- Windows Active Directory experience: user accounts, workstation accounts, groups, policy
- Windows Powershell
