Helpers are responsible for assisting with routine maintenance and preventive maintenance on all company equipment and machinery.

Physical Requirements:

·        Workers must be able to lift 50+ pounds, work from a ladder or scaffold, work overhead, and perform without hindrance activities that involve repetitive reaching, stretching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and/or bending.

·        They must also be able to work in varied climate conditions, and should possess good balance, depth perception, eye-hand coordination, and the stamina to perform physically demanding construction work.

·        A candidate must be able to safely perform the duties and responsibilities normally and reasonably expected of a worker in their position.

General job skills:

·        Good mechanical skills

·        Basic computer skills

·        Forklift experience preferred

·        Heavy lifting, ability to work well with others

·        Produce products for assembly in various departments

·        Assist in the installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical systems

·        Measure and cut pipes to specified lengths using various hand and power tools

·        Help in assembling and installing pipes, fittings, and related equipment according to blueprints and specifications

·        Transport materials, tools, and equipment at job sites

·        Maintain a clean and organized work area

·        Assist in testing pipe systems for leaks and ensuring proper functioning

·        Follow directions from pipefitters and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule

·        Ensure that all required personal protective equipment be always worn (i.e., Follow all safety and equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties

·        Assist, when necessary, in sorting, cleaning carts, cleaning warehouse, stacking pallets/gaylords, placement of cans in roll-off containers, operation of cardboard compactor

·        Ability to follow instructions and perform duties under limited supervision
Work in outdoor environment up to 100% of the time.
