The HFM System Administrator serves as the administrator of the company's Hyperion Financial Management system used to generate the company's consolidated results that are filed publicly with the SEC. The position works closely with the consolidation team and other members of the finance community to ensure smooth operation of the system. In this role, you will be responsible for the HFM and FDMEE applications. You will also be responsible for gathering business requirements, understanding business processes, creating functional design specifications, creating/delivering end user training, providing production support, and assisting implementation teams to deliver solutions.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Application administration, update and assign security, update metadata and maintain hierarchies, trouble-shoot user issues with data discrepancies, assist users with installing smart-view
- Responsible for the data transfer from the multiple ERP solutions to HFM
- Perform SOX controls related to the HFM system and/or integrations
- Maintain and develop FR reports within HFM
- Update existing web forms and create new ones as necessary
- Work with Corporate Systems IT teams to provide support related to backups and other IT related tasks
- Ensure application configurations are managed and promoted appropriately across Development, Test and Production environments
- Provide support on M&A transactions
- Design and recommend solutions for ad hoc problems and issues faced by the users
- Provide support for project work as the HFM application subject matter expert
- Gather business requirements and translate them into high quality functional specifications
- Provide training to end-users on the HFM application as required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or IT
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience
- Proficient with ERP account applications and PC applications in HFM and FDMEE
- Expert level knowledge in Hyperion Financial Management
- Strong understanding of consolidations rules, eliminations, and translations
- Experience of broader Oracle EPM solutions, particularly Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service
- Experience of full project lifecycle delivery of HFM
