ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
- Provide technical support and guidance to local and network wide users of WMS software.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain various software and hardware related to the WMS.
- Train Team Members on the use of the WMS software to ensure consistency and accuracy of inventory.
- Troubleshoot and resolve WMS software problems and incidents.
- Coordinate and communicate with the warehouse operations team, the IT team, and the software vendor on WMS software issues and updates.
- Design and configure WMS software according to the business requirements and best practices.
- Assist in the set-up and management of WMS software network, servers, databases, backups, and security.
- Assist in the design, configuration, installation, monitoring, and support of connectivity between various systems and entities via EDI, VAN, AS2, SFTP, etc..
- Meet and collaborate with client and internal customers to onboard new clients.
- Maintain and update WMS software documentation and manuals.
- Test and implement WMS software upgrades and enhancements.
- Train and supervise internal and external WMS software users and administrators.
- Recommend and implement WMS software improvements and optimizations.
- Provide hardware support for customers hardware and extended network.
- Consults and coordinates with operations to make sure the systems support and enhance the operational team.
- Provides feedback about user needs regarding hardware, software, and innovations to enhance productivity and customer service.
- Assists in the support and management of other software and systems, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Yard Management Systems (YMS), ERP's, etc..
- Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
- Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

- Education:
- High School graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
- Experience:
- Minimum two years' experience with WMS systems - Kober/Highjump E3PL version 4.0 or greater strongly preferred - including support, development, and implementation.
- Necessary Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willing to listen and learn new skills and ways of working.
- Computer Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Experience with EDI preferred.
- Experience with Boomi preferred.
- Experience with REST Web Services/API calls preferred.
- Proficiency with relational database development/management using SQL preferred.
