The Highway Operations Supervisor - Patrol is a safety-sensitive position subject to DOT drug & alcohol procedures, must be available to report to work during regular business hours and must be available after hours to respond to emergencies and/or highway conditions. Reporting to the Patrol Superintendent (Hwy), the Highway Operations Supervisor - Patrol (Hwy) supervises and directs various highway and other construction and maintenance projects. Performs related duties including determining personnel, material, and equipment needs, preparing cost estimates, supervising personnel, performing inspections, etc.
Schedule: Winter Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Summer Mon-Thurs 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Work schedule fluctuates with the change of seasons and workloads. Flexibility is required based on workloads. Must be available to report to work after hours to respond to emergencies and/or highway conditions. Availability is the ability to respond to a phone call within 15 minutes and report to duty within 45 minutes.
