Job Title: Telehealth Hematology/Oncology Specialized Registered Nurse

Location: Work from any nearest VA Hospital - Not remote

Start Date: Nov 2024

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm

Duration: 12+ Months (opportunity for 26 weeks Contract)

Qualification:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

License: Any State RN license accepted

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in oncology or hematology.
• Experience in administering chemotherapy and other cancer treatments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Manage side effects and symptoms associated with cancer treatments.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
