[Position: Hispanic Services/Empowerment Coord, DV-SA, PREA Advocate
[Reports to: Executive Director
[The position of [Hispanic Services/Empowerment Coord, DV-SA, PREA Advocate [full advocacy services, as well as individual and group counseling, to primary and secondary victims of domestic and sexual violence.

- Overseeing all Hispanic Outreach services.
- Conduct thorough intake of clients, requesting services and providing referrals for services to other essential service providers as appropriate; accurately assessing immediate needs, including emergency shelter; providing crisis intervention and/or safety planning; assessing the immediate needs of any children involved.
- Counsel clients individually and in small groups regarding the dynamics of domestic and/or sexual violence.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and various agencies and providers; ensuring needed services are being received; employing the Empowerment Model of advocacy; intervening as necessary to ensure expeditious delivery of services.
- Preparing clients for the judicial process; assisting clients with paperwork and acquisition of documentation as necessary; securing legal consultation and representation for clients; accompanying clients to appointments and proceedings; ensuring client and staff safety.
- Collaborates with team members to develop and implement activities and programs.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, reports, and statistical information as required.
- Conduct and/or oversee monthly support groups to include empowerment
- Present at least 2 Community demonstrations per month logging in Osninum
- Instructor of DV101, Nurturing Parenting, SA101 individual and group
- Performing additional tasks as needed, ensuring quality service delivery to all clients.

Bi-lingual proficient with 2 years verifiable experience in domestic/sexual assault advocacy working with Hispanic Services
Ability to effectively provide advocacy services, in person or by telephone, to a wide range of ethnic and cultural populations.
Self-directed team member with excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to provide services unencumbered by any personal history of sexual assault or domestic violence.
