Job Overview
As a FT Sales Associate at Hive Collections, you will play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional client experience through outstanding sales and service. Your actions and mindset will embody the principles of a "sales maker" rather than a "sales taker," emphasizing proactive engagement and superior customer satisfaction.
You will be the face of Hive Collections, greeting customers with sincerity and enthusiasm to foster a warm and welcoming environment. Your confident, intuitive approach will help you quickly assess and respond to customer needs, ensuring they receive personalized and attentive service. Your active presence on the sales floor will demonstrate your availability and openness, making customers feel valued and supported throughout their shopping journey.
Job Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
- Provide a positive customer experience by being confident, intuitive, and directive.
- Welcome customers immediately with sincerity and enthusiasm, creating a warm and welcoming experience.
- Maintain an active floor presence, demonstrating availability and openness to the customer.
- Engage customers with an intuitive approach to determine their needs.
- Team up with other salespeople to best serve the client's needs.
- Provide an exceptional fitting room experience.
- Return to the fitting room often to check in on the customer and remove unwanted items.
- Provide relevant fashion advice, product knowledge, and recommendations.
- Bring additional merchandise to complete the customer's look.
Sales and Checkout
- Complete the customer experience with an accurate and efficient checkout.
- Demonstrate accuracy and efficiency at the point of sale.
- Add accurate customer information on a regular basis.
- Fold, wrap, or hang the customer's purchase meeting Hive's wrapping standard.
- Send professional thank-you notes to your customers.
- Be gracious in accepting returns and turn them into a sale when possible.
Store Maintenance and Inventory
- Maintain the store when customers are not present, including receiving shipments, stocking, and maintaining displays.
- Complete projects and tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow inventory procedures.
Sales Support
- Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in all tasks and procedures to support the sales floor.
- Support driving sales and gross margin performance.
- Outreach to support in-store and online sales and invite customers to special events when appropriate.

Requirements:
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 15 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
- Ability to maneuver effectively around the floor, stock room, and cash wrap.
- The position entails prolonged standing.
- Maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow dress code guidelines.
- Demonstrate honest and ethical behavior.
- Work scheduled shifts, demonstrate flexibility when schedule changes are necessary, and notify your manager prior to your shift if you are delayed or unable to work.
- Record all time worked promptly and accurately.
- Follow all safety guidelines.
