About the Role:
In this role, you willbe responsible for the Home Lending production risk monitoring process and program, focusing on marketing and product development. Works with production staff on training and marketing activities.
+ Works closely with the SVP Home Lending Director and Home Lending Production teams
+ Provides ongoing monitoring of usage and guidance toward materials creation, vendor setup (such as user access, admin role) of Loan Officer marketing vendors including but not limited to Surefire and Bear Printing
+ Reviews all Home Lending marketing materials for regulatory compliance and home loan program disclosure accuracy prior to submission to Central Compliance to streamline approval turn-time.
+ Home Lending marketing materials include product flyers, advertising, promotions, presentations, brochures, PR articles, website content, mobile marketing, etc.
+ Provides guidance to Production Managers and HL Marketing for questions, recommendations and best practices concerning RESPA co-marketing activities.
+ Recommends annual and new hire Loan Officer required marketing and compliance training required including content/topics; review training materials prior to publish.
+ Responsible for annual review of Loan Officer websites for compliance with RESPA, UDAAP and other regulations.
+ May be required to represent the company in the community.
+ Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
+ Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
+ Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
+ May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
+ Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.

About You:
+ Bachelor's Degree in business, a related field, or equivalent, and familiarity with the mortgage lending industry.
+ 4-7 yearsof relevant experience in the mortgage lending industry.
+ 2-4 yearsof workflow analytics and continuous improvement programs.
+ In-depth knowledge of the Encompass 360 loan origination system.
+ Extremely strong relationship management and operational abilities, analytical and problem-solving skills, and project management skills.
+ Advanced knowledge of products and services in Home Lending.
+ Proven track record of success and skills in Home Lending.
+ Knowledge of policies, procedures, practices and documentation in Home Lending.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
+ Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.
+ Requires significant experience in the mortgage lending industry and a demonstrated ability to manage projects within time and budget constraints.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead/influence others to achieve goals.
+ Excellent negotiating skills.
+ In-depth knowledge of “best practices” in mortgage industry.
+ Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel, and other business machines.
+ Ability to train and present to small and large audiences or has the interest in learning to train and present.

Thepayrange for this role is $57,520.00 to $86,280.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate isdependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The rolemay beeligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
