They are what we believe, what customers can expect, and how we deliver. # Project Overview: Join us as we make history at the Hanford Vit Plant, known as the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant. We are designing and building a one-of-a-kind facility that will turn radioactive and chemical waste left over from World War II and Cold War plutonium production into a form safe for disposal. Your efforts will help protect the nearby Columbia River and the communities, salmon, and wildlife along its shorelines throughout the Northwest. Sitting at the confluence of the Columbia, Snake and Yakima rivers near two mountain ranges, our community provides access to year-round outdoor recreation, 300 days of sun a year, more than 200 wineries within a 50-mile radius, and the amenities of large cities just a three-hour drive (or short flight) to Seattle and Portland. # Job Summary: In this role, you will work with the project team to assist in the preparation, establishment, and maintenance of schedule data for proposals or contracts. You will perform schedule development duties, monitoring, reporting, and analysis and assist with schedule recovery plans. Your work will enable Bechtel to optimize the scheduling details for critical activities to best achieve project deadlines and objectives. _This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership._ \#LI-LO1 # Major Responsibilities: + Assists in the preparation of schedule data for proposals or contracts + Establishes and maintains the schedule for a specific discipline area or specialty + Performs schedule development duties to include establishing the work breakdown structure (WBS), determining the work activity duration, establishing the proper workflow logic ties, and developing the required job expenditure + Performs schedule monitoring, including identifying critical activities and updating functions for specific applications, disciplines, or specialties + Assists with maintenance of critical path schedule reports and schedule performance metrics + Performs schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine criticality of schedule activities + Assists with schedule recovery plans # Education and Experience Requirements: + Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience + Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education. + Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site. (Even if teleworking, must still be able to comply with security requirements to obtain a badge) + Must possess the right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship. # Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: + Knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, and / or plant operations customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience. + Proficiency in scheduling software applications (Primavera P6), cost processing applications (COBRA) and software applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI + Experience in Project Controls with an understanding of Project Controls general technical skills and tools. + Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. + Ability to work under pressure. + Demonstrated ability to work with people of varied backgrounds and objectives. # Total Rewards/Benefits: For decades, Bechtel has worked to inspire the next generation of engineers and beyond!
