Home Care Registered Nurse (RN), Pediatrics - York County - Maine Health

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to$10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0 - 2 years of RNexperience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with 2 or more years of experience!

• Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

• Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealthteam membersare ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Position Summary

Position functions as a Home Care RN and applies expertise of pediatric nursing to home care patients where care plan indicates such intervention is appropriate and provides support and assessment to mothers and children (newborns – 18 years old).Employee serves in a consultant capacity to co-workers when increased knowledge of this specialty will enable the co-worker to provide improved patient care.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an NLN accredited nursing program.
2. License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure as aRegistered Nurse. Current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
3. Experience: Position requires a minimum of one year of acute pediatric nursing experience. Prior Home Care RN experience desired. Prior Epic experience preferred.
