The Licensed Practical Nurse functions as a valuable member of the care team, responsible for the delivery of patient care as directed by the RN and or medical provider. They assist with procedures, patient education, and schedule patients for tests and appointments. Excellent communications skills are an important talent for the LPN, as phone triage, consistent and smooth patient flow, and collaboration with providers are a must. The LPN must be capable of functioning as a member of the team and perform circulating duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Current Washington State certification in good standing; LPN required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Two years of medical office experience preferably in a clinic setting preferred
- Must stay current in knowledge base, certifications and licenses required and meet Hospital-mandated education requirements
- Experienced LPN's and new grads welcome!
Schedule
1.0 FTE; 40 hours/week, Day Shift
