About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Home Health Hospice **Job Duration:** 13-week assignment **Shift:** Cover a leave of absence **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week **Experience:** Must have hospice experience **License:** Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California **Certifications:** Current BLS certification **Must-Have:** Adaptability, equipment knowledge, infection control skills, and job knowledge **Job Description:** - **Medication Management:** Manages and administers prescribed medication, ECT, perioperative care, assesses medication adherence, provides education regarding medications, performs medication reviews, and monitors side effects. - **Patient Counseling:** Provides advice or guidance in clinical expertise to solve problems, offer information, and develop possible plans of action. - **Patient Documentation:** Prepares and delivers patient information to meet job requirements, including clinical visit details and explanations for services or procedures. - **Treatment Planning:** Anticipates resource needs and arranges, prioritizes, and shapes activities to meet treatment planning objectives. - **Skills and Experience:** Ability to adapt to changing environments, knowledge of relevant equipment and tools, and follow infection control policies and procedures.
