We are a non-profit long term care facility that offers independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care. SUMMARY
Works with residents and families to staff requests for Companions and Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.'s). Coordinates and oversees day to day activities of the Home Care Staffing office. Utilizes clinical skills to provide scheduled coverage in the Wellness Clinic. Complies with all Sharon Towers Policies and Procedures, Code of Conduct and local, state and federal regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedules qualified staff for residents requesting C.N.A. or Companion services utilizing the ESRP software.
- Initiates and completes new and revised Home Care Contracts and sets up in ERSP.
- Prepares bi-weekly payroll and submits to Human Resources in an accurate and timely manner.
- Completes monthly Transportation billing and forwards to Accounting on an Excel spreadsheet.
- Utilizes nursing knowledge and skills in the safe implementation of basic preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing care for Wellness Clinic patients
- Performs delegated independent nursing functions using established procedures policies guidelines and standards as observed by the Registered Nurse
- Performs triaging via telephone and/or in-person in clinic or on Sharon Towers' premises.
- Handles emergency situations in a prompt, precise, professional and safe manner.
QUALIFICATION
- Must have an unencumbered North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse license from an accredited school of nursing and have at least 12 months experiences in a clinical setting.
- Has knowledge of office procedures and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
