BE A PART OF THE CONNECTION
At Spectrum, we ensure the delivery of our internet services to more than 32 million customers nationwide. As a Horizontal Directional Driller, you will be responsible for running Vermeer horizontal directional drill rigs and equipment supporting a major telecommunications infrastructure project. You will also be working directly with the Horizontal Directional Locator for guidance during drilling operations. Your role will help grow Charter's expanding network and connect new customers to our communications products and services.

It is important that you have strong communication and leadership skills while in this role. By leading your team in the field efficiently and effectively, your work will ensure that our customers have access to Spectrum's growing network.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
Experience: Horizontal drilling experience of at least two years. Practical working experience with underground construction for both conduit and fiber installation.
Education: High school diploma or GED
Abilities:Able to read, write, speak and understand English
Schedule: Hours will be determined as business needs dictate
Travel Ability: Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record; you'll travel 80% of the time to complete projects at different sites
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA safety certifications, operator certifications, Class A or B CDL, valid driver's license and clean driving record
Horizontal drilling experience of five years or more
Practical working experience with underground construction and equipment for both conduit and fiber installation
