Position: Dayshift Manual Machinist
Pay Rate range determined on experience: Entry Level $16–$20 | Mid-Level to Expert $20–$34
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (30-minute lunch). Overtime as needed.
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temp-to-Hire

Reports to: Production Manager

LK Jordan is hiring a skilled Manual Machinist for our day shift! If you're passionate about precision and ready to produce high-quality components, this is the job for you. We're looking for a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and ensure consistent output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine precision components using blueprints and sample parts
• Operate Horizontal Mills, Vertical Turret Lathes, and Engine Lathes
• Apply math skills to determine dimensions and tolerances
• Collaborate with quality control to resolve issues and ensure high standards
• Select proper tools and materials for machining tasks
• Inspect finished products for defects and compliance
• Adhere to safety protocols and be flexible with overtime

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of manual machining experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to stand, crouch, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Fluency in English
