Compensation:
$18.00 - $20.00/hr Starting DOE
Annual sales bonus eligible (based on total company annual performance)

Hours:
Scheduled 40hrs per week
Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Job Summary: Provide superior customer service to incoming customers by processing orders, assembling/repairing customer hose assemblies, assisting in general warehouse operations, exhibiting extensive product knowledge, and supporting ongoing sales objectives.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
To be eligible for the position, candidate must:
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Be conscientious and ethical
- Work well with others
- Be self-motivated and goal driven
- Be able to accurately read print writing and a tape measure
- Be able to apply math principles and concepts including: measurements, percentages, fractions, converting feet to inches, etc.
- Have the ability to use common hand tools, handle small parts, and operate assembly machines
- Be able to navigate and troubleshoot the Internet skillfully
- Be able to operate Windows based computer programs successfully
- Have a minimum of an Associate degree in a related field; or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 2 years or more experience and/or training in a relevant field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing customer support by answering incoming sales and customer service phone calls, assisting walk-in customers with counter and will-call orders, and answering general product questions.
- Assembling products for orders including hydraulic & industrial hose, carts, casters, shelving, and other items.
- Assisting in the production and processing of products by knowing the components, general production processes, and quality controls to maximize the quality and distribution of the company’s products.
- Operating and adjusting hose cutting, pushing, & crimping machines.
- Identifying, picking, and preparing raw materials and products from warehouse used to fulfill orders
- Exhibiting extensive product knowledge and expertise by emphasizing product features based on the analyses of customers’ needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities, functionalities and limitations.
- Entering data for vendor purchase orders, customer orders and quotes into the computer system for processing.
- Establishing and maintaining interpersonal working relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Helping keep an accurate product inventory by maintaining showroom displays, putting away warehouse inventory, and periodically taking a physical inventory.
- Using computer programs such as Microsoft Office’s Excel, Word, and Outlook, company’s inventory tracking software, and the Internet.
