About the Job
Southeast Texas HR is seeking a dependable Hospital Cashierto join our team in the hospital and healthcare industry. As our Hospital Cashier, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties involving the preparation of different types of food items, setting up for cafeteria service, and receiving cash and credit payments. This is a temp to hire positions at an area hospital. You will be working during the hours of 6:00am - 6:00 pm. Pay will be $13.80 per hour.
As our Hospital Cashier your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Greeting customers.
- Accurately entering food order into POS system.
- Collect money due and accurately count change.
- Stock food items.
- Completes prep work for the next day.
- Interact with customers to ensure their needs are met.
- Adhere to all food safety/sanitation policies.
Requirements
To be considered for this position you MUST meet the following:
- 2 years experience of Cashier work.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to count money accurately.
- Ability to lift/push/pull 20 pounds.
- Must be able to hear adequately and communicate verbally with customers.
- Must be able to obtain proof of immunization records.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Pass all pre-employment screening including background screen and drug tests.
