- Physicians-Internal Medicine and Family Medicine trained
- Open ICU, SCP staffs intensivist program

Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical and Non-Clinical Oversight:Manage and support all activities within the hospitalist (HM) program.
- Team Leadership:Foster a culture of high performance and excellent patient care.
- Engagement:Ensure hospitalists are engaged and aligned with the hospitals quality, safety, and efficiency goals.
- Strategic Direction:Provide strategic direction and clinical leadership for the Hospital Medicine program.
- Quality Improvement:Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality improvement initiatives.
- Best Practices:Ensure adherence to best practices and national quality standards.
- Recruitment and Mentorship:Recruit, onboard, and mentor hospitalist physicians.
- Collaboration:Foster collaboration and communication between hospitalists, other departments, and administration.
- Patient-Centered Care:Champion patient-centered care and advocate for patient needs.
- Committee Representation:Represent the Hospital Medicine program on hospital committees.
- Performance Improvement:Participate in performance improvement activities and data analysis.
- Continuous Learning:Stay up to date on the latest advancements in Hospital Medicine.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Minimum of one year of Medical Leadership experience.
- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Experience in quality improvement and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for patient care and a commitment to continuous improvement.
