Pay: $18/hr

• This is a full-time, contract to potential hire opportunity.

Job Description:

• The Switchboard Operator will work within the hospital setting, answering and transferring all calls.
• Relay information to patients around hours, information desk info, and communicate this to all logistical employees throughout the hospital.
• Answer patient questions and requests for information.
• Take emergency calls.
• Take down patient information for admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Make long distance calls.

Schedule:

• Candidates must be available to work during the week and occasional weekends.
• Evening/Overnight Shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM and/or 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2+ years of experience within a clerical or call center/customer support role.
• EMR experience is preferred.
