About the Job
The Division of Hospital Medicine (DHM) of the Mount Sinai Health System, NY, is recruiting Hospitalists to care for patients admitted to the Medical Service.
Opportunities are available at Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Morningside in Manhattan, and at Mount Sinai Brooklyn and Mount Sinai Queens Hospitals. Positions are available for physicians with leadership experience as well as junior attending who want to develop their career in a dynamic and expanding Division. Night and per diem positions are also available. Our hospitalists play a central role in enhancing the quality of patient care and medical education. Opportunities are available in quality and patient safety initiatives, house staff and medical student education, and research. Responsibilities
- Complete daily Rotations
- Accept care of critical patients from outside Emergency Personnel
- Diagnose patients and develop treatment plans
- Order diagnostic tests
- Accurately document care provided
- Share care responsibilities and coverage with other team members
- Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues as an integral part of a health system

Qualifications
• Medical Degree from an Accredited University
• New York State Medical License
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
• Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
• A strong work ethic and desire to participate in team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
Compensation range from 180K to 340K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
