Hospitalist Physician at VeloSource

VeloSource has an ObGyn Hospitalist/Laborist opportunity in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

HOSPITAL DETAILS

• NICU Level: 3
• Total Hospital Deliveries annually: 2,000
• Estimated deliveries for hospitalists (monthly): 50-60
• MFM onsite
• In-house Anesthesia
• Residency Program - Family medicine residents rotate on L&D floor
• Additional details: Will work alongside hospital-employed hospitalist and CNM. They will provide backup.

PROGRAM DETAILS

• Shift Length: 24 HR
• Hospitalists to Provide Emergent GYN Coverage
• Hospitalists Needed for First Assist
• First assist available to the Hospitalists
• Backup Available to the Hospitalists: (OBGYN ED call and hospital hospitalist and CNM)

REQUIREMENTS:

• 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years
• 25-50 GYN visits annually
• No record of discipline by any medical organization
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
