Envision Physician Services is seeking a Hospitalist Site Medical Director at Medical City Plano.
Director Profile:
- Protected clinical time
- Open, collegial, and supportive relationship with executive hospital leadership
- Duties include co-management with specialties, clinical support for physicians on shift, shadowing and coaching, onboarding and mentoring new physicians, recruiting, and strategic planning.
- Must be Board Certified Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Previous leadership experience required
- Active TX license preferred or in-process
- W2 Employee status with medical, dental, vision insurance and 401k options
Position Profile
- Experienced group of 32 full time/daytime hospitalists and 2 nocturnists
- 3 Advanced Practice Providers who assist with admissions and cross coverage at night
- 2 nocturnist physicians every night
- Average census per hospitalist is 18-22
- Exclusive hospitalist program
- Excellent, long-term relationship with hospital administration
- Collaborative team – Envision also provides the Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Trauma, GI and OB hospitalist services at Medical City Plano
Medical City Plano is a 603-bed, acute care facility with more than 1,800 physicians representing over 70 specialties and subspecialties.
