Summary
Greets and provides wayfinding assistance and acts as an informational resource to patients, visitors, staff and vendors. Assists in training new staff. Oversees all aspects of one or more of the department’s service programs or initiatives, (i.e. Conference Rooms, We’re Here For You program) including delegating tasks and following up on completion of tasks. Identifies program improvements needed and implements ideas working in conjunction with other involved departments as required. Creates and maintains staff schedule. Supports other administrative tasks for department. Monday through Friday- 7a-3p
Education
High school or equivalent (GED).
Certification, Registration, and Licensure
None required.
Experience
Two years of customer service experience in a professional business environment dealing with the public in person and on the phone. Previous oversight of special projects or programs and scheduling and payroll experience helpful. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, databases and demonstrated ability to learn multiple applications and/or systems. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and interact positively with other departments. Ability to relay information learned to other staff and delegate tasks as specified in program activities.
Responsibilities
Greets and provides way finding assistance for patients, visitors, vendors, or staff, either in person or on the telephone.
Acts as an informational resource to patients, visitors, vendors, and staff either in person, telephone, or via email.
Coordinates activities related to departmental initiatives and programs (i.e. Conference Room Scheduling, Were Here For You, ).
Acts as a liaison between customer (patient, family member or staff) and internal and external resources to coordinate resolution of needs or requests of customer.
Receives and follows up on customer complaints to determine and implement appropriate resolution.
Creates and maintains monthly staffing schedule.
Participates and engages in department and division activities.
