POSITION SUMMARY:
This role has a clear objective: ensure every property transitions flawlessly between guests.
As the Housekeeping Manager here at Red Cottage, you’ll take the reins of our housekeeping operations with a disciplined, hands-on approach to leadership.
With a strong emphasis on property inspections, inventory management, and quality assurance, your day-to-day will oversee everything from scheduling to supply logistics, ensuring our high standards of cleanliness and presentation are met. In this role, success is measured by your ability to manage these tasks efficiently while maintaining the budget and building a team dedicated to excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and oversee housekeeping policies and procedures, ensuring top-tier cleanliness and organization across all properties.
- Regularly travel within the region for on-site inspections, maintaining Red Cottage's excellence in property presentation and upkeep.
- Oversee inventory management of housekeeping supplies and equipment, guaranteeing readiness and quality.
- Efficiently schedule housekeeping staff to meet operational demands, maintaining optimal staffing levels.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and provide training and motivation to housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Lead the onboarding process for new properties, including conducting initial inspections and creating tailored checklists and action plans.
- Collaborate across departments for coordinated operations, manage housekeeping budgets effectively, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in a housekeeping supervisor or management role, focusing on scheduling, property inspections, inventory management, and quality assurance preferred.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of housekeeping best practices and cleaning techniques.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Wage: $45,000 to $50,000 based on experience and achievement
