Job DescriptionThe Supervisor, Hospitality reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.Â
Responsibilities:
- Assists the Hospitality Manager in maintaining a high standard of hospitality by keeping them informed on the immediate condition of all assigned areas and by training, supervising, and motivating the department personnel to be sure all schedules are completed.
- Provides work leadership to hourly employees in completion of their job duties in Hospitality for an area, location or building.
- Works closely with Admissions to provide hospitality from the time a patient is admitted until they are discharged, and that all guests are aware of the hospitality presence upon entering
Required:
- One to two years of experience as a general utility worker.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Physical Demands: A physical demands test provides an objective way to identify if a candidate can meet the essential tasks for the job the candidate has applied for at Northwestern Medicine. The testing protocol was established with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)
