SUMMARY:

The

Host/Cashier

will provide guests with effective, efficient, friendly service to ensure their return visit

MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 1-year previous hosting experience is preferred

- Depending on the restaurant, must be 18 years of age

- Be able to speak and understand English

- Must be able to repeatedly lift 15 lbs

to chest and able to stand for long periods of time

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

- Sincerely greet each guest

- Makes eye contact with guest

- Knows the script and hours/days of operation

- Completes pre, running, and post shift side work requirements

- Seats guests in the proper order of arrival

- Ability to determine guest needs, provide information on seating status, take names and quote wait times accurately

- Understanding of Pro Host seating system

- Know all the table numbers and the various sections of the restaurant

- Understanding of the tending functions of the POS system

- Knowledge of all coupons and specials

- Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests and employees

- Ability to use a calculator and balance a bank with a high level of accuracy

- Genuinely thanks the Guest

- Adheres to appearance and uniform standards
