Upscale fine dining establishment located in the heart of Coconut Grove, Miami. We pride ourselves on delivering an exquisite culinary experience paired with impeccable service. As we expand our team, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant General Manager to join us in creating unforgettable moments for our guests.

Job duties

• Warmly greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant, providing a welcoming and memorable first impression.
• Manage the reservation system efficiently, ensuring accurate bookings and timely seating of guests.
• Escort guests to their tables and assist with seating arrangements, taking into account guest preferences and special requests.
• Maintain a tidy and organized hostess station, including managing coats and personal belongings for guests.
• Communicate effectively with the serving staff to coordinate table assignments and ensure smooth transitions between seating.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and accommodate special requests to the best of your ability.
• Monitor the dining area to ensure that guests are comfortable and attended to throughout their dining experience.
• Assist with various duties as needed to support the front-of-house team and maintain the overall flow of service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a hostess in a fine dining or upscale restaurant preferred. 3+ years
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and genuine desire to provide outstanding hospitality to guests.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
