Mulvaney's B&L is a renowned fine dining restaurant located in the heart of midtown. We are known for our farm-to-fork connections, philanthropic spirit, and our famous double cut pork chop. We are passionate about social change, mental health in our industry, and community betterment. Despite being a fine dining establishment, we pride ourselves on our dynamic and welcoming atmosphere. Our menu changes daily based on the freshest ingredients brought in by local farmers, and our restaurant layout is constantly evolving. We are looking for someone who can adapt to these changes and embrace the excitement that comes with it.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements
- Ensure timely and efficient seating of guests
- Provide menus and assist with any inquiries
- Coordinate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend availability is required
