We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Assistant General Manager to join our team at the Hallandale Hampton Inn. As the Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel, while maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction. You will work closely with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of the hotel's operations, including guest services, F&B, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field, preferred
- 3+ years of experience in hotel management
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience with hotel property management systems e.g. PEP
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to department needs and business volumes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Hampton Inn or similar hotel brand
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel
- Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service
- Manage and train hotel staff to ensure they are providing excellent service to guests
- Assist in developing and implementing hotel policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain the hotel's financial performance by analyzing financial reports and implementing strategies to improve revenue and reduce expenses
Skills:
As the Assistant General Manager, you will utilize your skills in hotel property management systems and your fluency in English and Spanish to effectively manage the hotel's operations. You will also use your strong leadership and communication skills to train and manage the hotel staff, ensuring they are providing exceptional service to guests. Additionally, you will use your analytical skills to monitor and maintain the hotel's financial performance, implementing strategies to improve revenue and reduce expenses. Overall, this role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with the General Manager and hotel staff to achieve the hotel's goals.
