Position Title: Hotel Director of Revenue Strategy
Location: The Ben, West Palm Beach, Autograph Collection Hotel
Position Overview:
As the Hotel Director of Revenue Strategy at The Ben, you will oversee all revenue-generating initiatives and drive revenue performance through strategic leadership. This role requires a high level of expertise in analyzing and forecasting market trends, utilizing revenue management systems, and aligning sales strategies with hotel goals to achieve revenue optimization and market share growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Leadership: Lead weekly Sales Strategy Meetings using Concord and Marriott Brand Revenue Systems. Tools include One Yield, MRDW reports, MarRFP, Marsha, MarketVision, Hotelligence, OnQ R&I, and Key Hotel Marketing Reports.
Tool and System Proficiency: Stay proficient in all revenue management tools provided by Concord Hospitality and provide training to Front Office and Sales Teams to ensure understanding and compliance.
Group and Transient Pace Reporting: Regularly integrate weekly group and transient pace reports into the hotel’s revenue management process.
Market Analysis: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the local and national economy, luxury market trends, and competitive landscape in Palm Beach County.
Forecasting Accuracy: Monitor forecast accuracy with a goal of achieving a variance of less than 5% between forecasted and actual performance. Implement training as necessary to improve forecasting skills.
Displacement Analysis: Use displacement models for evaluating large, long-term programs (6 months or longer) to guide strategic decision-making with the Sales Team.
Sales, Revenue, and eCommerce Integration: Foster collaboration across Sales, Revenue, and eCommerce to ensure an integrated approach to revenue management.
Team Mentorship: Guide the team in creating effective, value-driven packages that incorporate local partnerships and seasonal demand strategies.
Performance Reviews and Strategic Alignment: Coordinate hotel performance reviews with Regional Sales Teams to align strategy and capitalize on global opportunities.
Business Evaluation and Brand Promotions: Step in for Business Evaluations in CI/TY during Director of Sales absence and evaluate current brand promotions to enhance The Ben's revenue strategies.
RFP Process Management: Oversee RFP processes, ensuring timely participation and strategic account execution in pricing and production.
PMS and Revenue Reporting: Maintain knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) and reporting mechanisms across properties to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of revenue segments.
Relationship Building: Cultivate positive and professional relationships with hotel leadership, regional teams, Concord corporate staff, and brand partners.
Customer Service Commitment: Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers, fostering a high-quality experience at every touchpoint.
Strategic Marketing and Special Events Coordination: Assist with revenue-related statistics for the Marketing Plan and monitor action plans aligned with hotel strategy. Update special events on the hotel and corporate calendars to capture demand trends.
STR Analysis and Trend Documentation: Conduct weekly and monthly STR performance analyses, identifying and addressing share challenges with prepared reports.
Property Page Maintenance: Update Sales and Revenue pages on the hotel property page and maintain accurate records on the Concord Intranet site.
Training and Professional Development: Attend all brand-required training and additional meetings as requested by the General Manager or Concord Revenue Management.
Additional Responsibilities: Carry out other tasks as assigned by management and assist other Concord departments when needed. Some travel (up to 10%) may be required.

Required- 3 year(s): Experience with Marriott International PMS/Revenue Systems
- 5 year(s): Minimum o 5 Years Property Revenue Management Experience
- Experience with Luxury Brands / Luxury Markets
