About the Job
The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the operation of the Front Office in an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner, providing all guests with quality service prior to and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Accommodate hotel patrons by registering and assigning rooms to guests, issuing room keys, transmitting and receiving messages, keeping records of occupied rooms and guests' accounts, making and confirming reservations, and presenting statements to and collecting payments from departing guests.
- Respond to all guests’ requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents presented at the Front Desk or through Reservations, in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
- Ensure correct and accurate cash handling at the Front Desk.
- Comply at all timesto company standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Responsible for actively participating in the training and ongoing improvement of all Front Desk Agents.
Education / SKILL requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of Front Desk Supervisor experience
- Technical Skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet.
- Must be willing and capable of passing Alcohol Compliance Certification during the first three months of employment.
