Overview:Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a personable, dynamic, and knowledgeable House Car Driver to join our Front Office team. The House Car Driver is a “culture setter” who creates memorable experiences by offering prompt and reliable transportation to resort guests and club members. This individual plays a critical role in delivering exceptional, warm and attentive service at our luxury urban resort.
Responsibilities:- Operate the resort’s house car to transport guests and members to and from designated locations safely and efficiently
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, assist with loading and unloading luggage, and ensure their comfort throughout the journey
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the house car both inside and out, including regular cleaning and detailing
- Adhere to all traffic laws and resort policies, always ensuring the safety of guests and pedestrians
- Monitor and report any vehicle maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate resort team member/leader
- Collaborate with concierge and front office team to hold a thorough, on-brand knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and points of interest to assist guests with recommendations and directions
- Provide exceptional service by anticipating guests' needs and addressing any concerns or requests promptly and courteously
- Keep accurate records of mileage, trips, and fuel expenses, and submit reports to management as required
- Collaborate with the concierge team to coordinate transportation services and ensure a seamless guest experience
- Perform any other duties assigned by management to support the overall operation of the resort
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a professional driver or chauffeur preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and attractions
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion when dealing with guests' personal information and requests
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
- Ability to lift and carry luggage of various sizes and weights
- Impeccable grooming and professional appearance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to hotel policies and procedures
- A positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to exceed guests' expectations
