Job Summary and Qualifications

The House Supervisor promotes, advocates for and supports the nursing staff’s primary commitment to protect the health, safety and rights of the individual, family and community.  We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. 

What you will do in this role: 

• You will be responsible for facilitating patient transfer in accordance with policy and procedure.
• You will assure standards of performance are maintained as they relate to each individual department, with patient safety as the primary goal.
• You will display appropriate level of management acumen in effective conflict resolution involving staff, physicians or customers.
• You will exercise independent judgment within the context of interdisciplinary patient care.
• You will have the general clinical responsibility for patient care departments for a specific shift.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
• BLS certification required and maintained.
• Two years clinical nursing experience required.
• One year supervisory or charge nurse experience.

Belton Regional Medical Center is an 80+ bed acute care facility. We are located in Belton and serve southern Jackson and northern Cass counties.
