Position Summary
Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) seeks a housekeeper/environmental services technician. The person in this position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in all patient areas and corridors. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a responsive, detail-oriented, and service-driven professional.
SVMC environmental services professionals work as a team using a seven-step cleaning process and cross train into all housekeeper roles. We use equipment properly to keep patient areas, offices, and corridors safe. Through training, housekeepers learn to use the required computer resources and proper lifting/working procedures.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping experience
