What this Position Does: Ensure appearance and upkeep of property buildings and grounds in order to enhance and maintain its appeal.
The Day-to-Day Responsibilities This Person will be Overseeing:
Prepare vacant units for occupancy as necessary. Keep all vacancies fresh and odorless. Clean model apartments on a regularly scheduled basis per the Community Manager and/ or Service Manager.
Clean the leasing office, amenity areas, laundry facilities and other common areas on a daily basis, or as scheduled by the Manager.
Care for, maintain and inventory all supplies, and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company. Inform management of supply needs on a bimonthly basis.
Courteous, efficient response to resident and management requests. Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
Adhere to OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
Maintain the required property uniform and ensure a professional appearance at all times.
Miscellaneous duties as required.

What Education and/or Experience You Will Bring to the Table: High School, GED equivalent; or up to one month related experiences or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills and/or Office Equipment Knowledge: Mops, brooms, vacuum cleaner, window squeegee, scrubber, step stool, small ladder, screw driver, and other miscellaneous hand tools. Is required to wear gloves as tasks dictate. Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools.
Communication Skills Involved with the Position: Ability to read a limited number of two or three syllable words and basic numbers. Ability to speak simple sentences.
Analytical Abilities this Person Will Bring to the Table: Ability to apply common sense understanding carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands Required: While performingthe duties of thisjob, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is frequently required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, squat, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 20 or more pounds; push or pull light furniture, appliances, open and close door; grasp, grip, turn cleaning tools and equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Corporate Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles, toxic, or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
