Perform a combination of light cleaning duties to maintain the Inn’s luxury guest rooms in accordance with the Inn’s policies, procedures, and standards. Consistently meets or exceeds the Inn’s standards for five-star guest service and cleanliness. Is familiar with and complies with the Inn’s luxury standards and philosophy in performing all key areas of accountability and other essential duties and responsibilities. Emphasis on achieving a five-star luxury cleaning standard with very high attention to detail.
Qualifications:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Must pass all applicable background check requirements.
• CPR certification may be recommended.
Pay range: $23.00 - $29.90 per hour
*Includes a gas benefit per shift for qualifying employees!
Responsibilities:• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Sacred Rock Inn/Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines.
• Clean and maintain all guestrooms to the Inn’s standards, emphasizing five-star luxury cleaning standards.
• Clean and maintain assigned public areas to established service standards.
• Adhere to the Inn’s Employee Manual and Housekeeping Department training guidelines.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner and report all accidents and safety issues to the supervisor immediately regardless of severity.
• Maintain safety and security of guests at all times.
• Adhere to key control policy and procedure according to set standards.
• Adhere to and promote the Inn’s Standards.
• Complete work assignment sheet on a daily basis.
• Maintain organization and supplies on housekeeper's cart.
• Adhere to established uniform and grooming policies.
• Turn in all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor as soon as possible, always before the end of shift.
• Maintain storage rooms in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Check all rooms and report any damage, repair needs, or loss of supplies, equipment, or linens to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Recycle newspapers, cans, plastic, and glass bottles.
• Perform any other housekeeping tasks assigned.
• Attend all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.
• Assist in training new/other employees as directed.
• May be required to perform supervisory duties as requested in the absence of the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Should typically be able to complete the cleaning of four or more rooms a day to the Inn’s luxury standards.
