POSITION SUMMARY:
This candidate would participate in day-to-day operations with the Housekeeping Team that serves our clients at The LeBear Luxury Resort in Glen Arbor, Michigan. We are looking for mature, hardworking, and seasoned professionals who are friendly and customer service-oriented. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work as a member of a team to efficiently and thoroughly clean rental properties for incoming guests and owner stays.
- Perform a variety of linen management, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, stacking, and transporting linens as well as distributing linens to residences.
- Lift / transport cleaning supplies to/from units using a utility cart.
- Provide consistent documentation and communication to fellow housekeepers,
- Housekeeping Leads and Housekeeping Manager.
- Thoroughly inspect the facility, document any damages, and manage items left behind after guest departure.
- Maintain cleaning carts and storage room in a clean and orderly fashion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ideal Experience - 1 year of housekeeping experience
- Must be able to work collaboratively and efficiently within the team as well as have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to multitask with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to follow directions thoroughly.
- Possesses good time management skills and has a high attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with teammates, guests, and associates.
- Available for flexible scheduling to meet the department's needs, including occasional weekends, holidays, evenings, and weekdays.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to walk, bend, stand, sit, lift up to 25 pounds with or without assistance, navigate stairs, climb short ladders stretch/reach, hear, see, and have functional hand/finger dexterity. Must be free of physical limitations and able to push/pull linen carts. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $22.50
