About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full-time Housekeeper to join our team!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout our community, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits
- Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
- Check stocking levels of all consumables
- Operate commercial washer and dryer and other cleaning equipment normally associated with position.
- Stock laundry and cleaning cart with supplies.
- Maintain clean laundry room and keep chemicals in an orderly fashion.
- Fold linens and resident clothing articles.
- Change resident bedding.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize common areas, common restrooms, and residents' rooms and bathrooms.
Skills:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred.
- Ability to work independently and remain motivated
- Helpful with customer service orientation
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
Work schedule:
- Mon - Fri 8:30am to 5:00pm
