A typical day for a Housekeeper includes:

·       Cleaning floors to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc. Cleaning carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.

·       Cleaning public restrooms including washing, sanitizing, and/or polishing bathroom fixtures.

·       Visiting assigned residences to perform basic apartment cleaning of bathroom fixtures and floors. Wiping surfaces in kitchen and ensuring that appliances are clean. Vacuuming and feather dusting surfaces in apartment. Removing linens from bed and returning to resident for cleaning.
