Job Summary
Housekeepers provide and maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and welcoming environment at our facilities and our apartments. The environment of our facilities is part of our therapeutic model; the standard of our facilities impacts client care, comfort, safety, and security. This position will be responsible for the cleaning of two residential (2x/wk), two outpatient programs (every other week), and two apartments (1x/wk) in the San Diego region, ideally working Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm though hours/days can be discussed.
Major Responsibilities:
- Upholds and maintains the Company, mission, and values (called the Lightfully "Shining Commitments").
- Perform various cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
- Conduct regular deep cleans at each facility, utilizing germicidal products.
- Ensure that all rooms (including the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, staff offices, and common areas) are well-maintained and inspected according to standards.
- Regularly clean and sanitize all surfaces, including bathrooms and toilets, windows, furniture, and floors.
- At our Residential Treatment Centers (RTCs), clean client bedrooms according to the set schedule. This cleaning includes changing linens, vacuuming carpets or rugs, emptying wastebaskets, and disposing of trash properly.
- Change bed linens and towels regularly and when a client discharges, at both RTC and our OP apartments. Linen laundering includes removing stains and treating them if needed.
- Notify the supervisor of any damages, deficits, or disturbances to any furniture, equipment, or property.
- Check cleaning supply stock levels and replace items as needed. Communicate with onsite leadership about when new towels and linens are required.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety rules and company practices, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when applicable.
- Support at special events or new program openings, as needed.
- Ensure all interactions are appropriate and specific to the population that Lightfully serves.
- Other duties as assigned.
Specific Skills/Competencies:
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently with high performance.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have the ability to communicate with individuals over phone, electronic correspondence, and in-person.
- Depending on the site, individuals may be required to frequently ascend and descend stairs. 85% - 100% of fundamental job requirements occur inside multiple-story facilities.
- Ability to operate in occasionally noisy environments.
- May be required to stand, sit, stoop, bend, and lift/move up to 20 lbs.

- Must utilize professional communication when addressing issues with clients or staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
- Housekeeping experience or experience in service industry, preferred.
- Must pass extensive background check.
The pay range for this position is $21-$25/hour
