POSITION SUMMARY:

Our Housekeepers consistently go above and beyond to ensure a home-away-from-home experience for our guests. Your meaningful work profoundly influences the guest's stay from beginning to end, as you provide everyone with a high standard of safety and cleanliness. 

A day in the life of a Spillway Lodges Housekeeper may include: 

• Friendly interactions with our guests will make their stay memorable and comfortable. 
• Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all areas of assigned guest rooms, adhering to our resort's high cleanliness standards to keep them in pristine condition. This includes making beds, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and kitchens, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing furniture, fixtures, and decorative items, and additionally, emptying and cleaning waste receptacles and taking full responsibility for the assigned guest room's overall cleanliness. 
• Changing and replenishing bed linens, towels, guest supplies, and amenities.
• Wearing your Spillway Lodges Team Member apparel, specially designed with your comfort and function in mind. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute a thorough cleaning regimen for each guest room, adhering to our resort's high cleanliness standards. 
• Clean and sanitize all areas of assigned guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, and outdoor areas. 
• Dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Change and replenish linens and towels according to established guidelines.
• Empty and clean waste receptacles, ensuring proper disposal of trash and recyclables. 
• Clean and polish all surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and decorative items.
• Ensure all amenities and supplies are restocked, including toiletries, towels, and guest supplies. 
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or malfunctions to the appropriate department for prompt resolution. 
• Collaborate with the Housekeeping team to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient cleaning operations. 
• Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to prevent accidents and damage. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is preferred. 
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple rooms and tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 
• Knowledge of proper handling and use of cleaning agents, equipment, and tools.
• Utilization of Spillway Lodges property operations platform (Breezeway).
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required. 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly: $20 - $30
