Housekeeper - The Worthington Senior Independent Living - Columbine Health Systems

Columbine Health Systems is a leader in providing long-term care and services since 1971. Our locally owned and operated healthcare continuum offers a spectrum of services including independent living, assisted living, rehabilitation, skilled nursing facilities, medical equipment, pharmacy services, home care, hospice care, and care for those with memory impairment.

Our beautiful Senior Independent Living Facility The Worthington is located at 900 Worthington Circle, Fort Collins, Colorado.

We are accepting applications for a Housekeeper able to work:

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 - 3:30pm

Compensation

• Starting wage between $15.00/hour - $15.75/hour (depending on experience)

Housekeeper / Laundry

• Responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of both residential apartments and the facility.
• Housekeeping duties include dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors throughout common areas and apartments.
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and resident kitchenettes.
• Laundry duties include facility linens, and resident sheets and towels.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, will provide on the job training.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Able to work and communicate with the senior population.
• Memorization is an important part of the housekeeping role.
• Must be at least 17 years of age and be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to tolerate lifting, pushing, and pulling in the 25-pound range frequently.
