If you answered yes to all the question above, then you should know Congressional Country Club is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant. The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for assisting with the cleanliness and maintenance of all the clubhouse facilities. Be part of the team that is responsible for the presentation and upkeep of the club. Maintain a helpful, courteous, respectful and professional demeanor with all other departments, team members, membership and their guest.

What will be expected of you:
Floors
- Floor maintenance via daily use of brush, water, and diluted chemicals
- Use of automatic floor scrubber once a week in order to maintain tile grout
- Buffer, vacuum, polish floors
- Removal and pressure washing of floor mats
Bathrooms
- Cleaning shower walls and floor
- Metal hardware polishing
Amenities
- Replenishing of towels and all other amenities
Sinks
- Constant cleaning/drying/ of sinks and glass or mirrored surfaces not limited to times of high member traffic
- Polishing of sink hardware toilet, etc.
- Towel removal from all bathrooms
- Replenishing of soap, toilet paper, paper towels and other amenities
- Realign furniture according to floor plan.
- Inspect condition of all furniture for tears, rips or stains; report any damages to maintenance.
- Update status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheet and with the front desk.
- Report any guest room damages or maintenance issues to supervisor or front desk in the absence of supervisor.
- Ensure guest complaints are resolved, ensuring guest satisfaction, report all incidents to supervisor or front desk.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry room
- The ability to operate a two-way radio, cleaning and general office equipment, including a computer, is expected. This position requires continuous movement and standing, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, AM and PM shifts
How we determine your qualifications:
- High School or Equivalent Degree, required
- 2 years housekeeping preferred
- Floor maintenance experience a plus
