Housekeeping/Laundry Staff Job Specification:

 Maintain a clean and organized environment, perform general cleaning tasks, manage laundry operations, and uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Housekeeping/Laundry Staff Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and maintain a neat and orderly appearance in rooms.
• Collect, wash, dry, and fold laundry items following established procedures.
• Sort and separate items based on colors, fabrics, and cleaning requirements.
• Monitor and maintain laundry equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
• Assist in setting up rooms for residents/guests as needed.
• Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning and laundry supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Interact professionally with residents, guests, and team members, addressing inquiries and concerns.

Housekeeping/Laundry Staff Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Previous experience in housekeeping and/or laundry services is preferred.
• Physical stamina for tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and laundry care.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Efficient time management skills to meet cleaning and laundry schedules.
